Kosciusko Runners' Association was started to provide Events with materials and know-how! We have Race Clocks that can be seen a "football field" away! AND, to provide expert coaching where it is truly desired.
We want to promote walking and running as means of improving health...
At the same time, we provide organizations with 5 k and 10 k racing structure as well as Promoting and helping with the Finish Line.
Coaching is paramount! Crane said, "I want to promote running and walking for all ages as a means of enjoyment and building healthier bodies. I am willing to coach anyone who is serious about life-style changes."
Bill Crane is the founder of KRA, and has coached running and walking for the largest endurance training program in the world. Crane was inducted into the Team-In-Training Hall of Fame. He was certified under Dr. Daniels who is a contributing writer for Runner's World magazine and is proclaimed as "the world's greatest coach."
Mr. Crane has run over 25 marathons in 10 years... countless half marathons... and many Duathlons and Tri-athlons. He qualified for Boston at his 2nd marathon in Chicago, and finished Boston in April 1997. One month later, Crane did the Indy-Mini and finished in the first 500 and took 7th in his age group of nearly 600 men. He took 1st in his age group at the Dublin, Ireland Marathon and finished in the overall top 5% in Honolulu Marathon in 1997 [32,000+ finnishers].
A book has been put together with helps & hints for running and walking~ [$15.00]. Mr. Crane's coaching cost is only $10.00 per hour.
Mary Crane is his wife who is a well recognized Pharmacist. She has her own business as well. She does wellness consultations and sells medical foods including vitimins and other supplements. She has run many 5 & 10 k races as well as several half marathons. She ran marathons in Chicago, Paris, France and San Diego, California.
