 The Mission of KRA is two fold:
To help charities raise money for much needed
community projects;
AND,
To have men & women, and boys & girls
find walking and running as a health building experience!

Kosciusko Runners' Association was started to provide Events with materials and know-how!   ["Kosciusko" **]          If desired, we can time your race with  the High Density Digital (HDD) Chip Timing System by RFID Race Timing Systems.            NEW:  We are now offering PC Timer used with The Race Director Software.  The Chips will not be used but accuracy and speed is incredible!!  AND, for about 1/2 the price!
 
We have Race Clocks that can be seen a "football field" away!  AND, to provide expert coaching where it is truly desired.   Primarily, we serve an area within a 100 mile radius of Warsaw, Indiana. However, we have timed races in Ohio and Tennessee, and are planning in Michigan. We have timed any distance from a 1 mile swim to an Ultra Marathon and many in-between. 
 
We provide organizations with 5k,10k and Half-Marathon & Marathon racing structure, as well as Promoting and helping with the Finish Line.
 
At the same time, we want to promote walking and running as means of improving health...  Running is a great stress reliever; it gives us MORE energy and we can move forward in many other areas of our lives. 
  
 
Coaching is paramount!  Crane said, "I want to promote running and walking for all ages as a means of enjoyment and building healthier bodies and minds.    I am willing to coach anyone who is serious about life-style changes." 
 
Bill Crane is the founder of KRA, and has coached running and walking for the largest endurance training program in the world.  Crane was inducted into the Team-In-Training Hall of Fame.  He was certified under Dr. J. Daniels who is a contributing writer for Runner's World magazine and is proclaimed as "the world's greatest coach."  
 
Mr. Crane has run over 25 marathons in 10 years... countless half marathons... and many Duathlons and Triathlons. He qualified for Boston at his 2nd marathon in Chicago, and finished Boston in April 1997.  One month later, Crane did the Indy-Mini and finished in the first 500 where he took 7th in his age group of nearly 600 men.  He took 1st in his age group at the Dublin, Ireland Marathon and finished in the overall top 5% in Honolulu Marathon in December 1997 [32,000+ finishers].

For supplements, we have several sources such as well recognized Pharmacists, drug stores, health food stores, and health systems -- a list could be provided.  
 
Mary Crane could do wellness consultations at no charge.   She has run many 5 & 10 k  races as well as several half marathons.  She ran marathons in Chicago, Paris, France and San Diego, California.

* * Kosciusko - Pron: Kos-see-os'-ko,  a Polish Explorer this county was named after.  Tadeusz Kosciuszko was an incredible individual, considered a hero in many nations and a fighter for freedom and justice. He is recognised across the globe for his achievements and can be seen as a  ‘world citizen’ and a great role model for today’s youth.
